Drake Sued By Producer Detail For Alleged Beatdown

While Drake and Noah "40" Shebib are best buddies, another famous producer, Detail, says that things between him and Drizzy did not work out as well. According to TMZ, Detail is taking Drake to court because the former Degrassi star reportedly had someone beat him up.

The man behind Beyonce and Rihanna hits says that in 2014, Drake asked him to be an exclusive producer for him. This came after they worked on "Own It," from the 2013 album Nothing Was the Same. Detail says he declined the deal because he wanted to be able to continue his work with other artists.

This reportedly didn't sit well with Drake and in June of that year, Detail was asked to come to the Toronto rapper's home to do some work. Upon arriving in the middle of the night, the producer was confronted by Drake's bodyguard, who proceeded to beat him up, saying things that led Detail to believe Drizzy put the man up to the task. Detail says he broke his jaw in the incident.

He is now suing Drake for an undisclosed amount of money.
